Putting colored stripes in your beard is simpler than you might think. Purchase colored hair dye. Find a short-bristled applicator if the dye didn't come with one; a toothbrush is ideal. Use a different applicator for each color you're going to apply.

Lay paper towels around your work surface. Work near a sink. Put on a pair of latex gloves.

Follow the manufacturer's instructions for preparing the dye.

Dip the applicator in the dye. Place the bristles gently against your beard, starting at the top.

Run the bristles through your beard. Dip the applicator in the dye if you need more to finish the stripe.
