How to Make an Origami Pac-Man
Pac-Man has been a popular video game character since his introduction to pop culture in the 1980s. A round blob with a mouth that opens and closes, Pac-Man's design is simple and striking; it is likely to please even those who are unfamiliar with the game. This colorful origami puppet is a fun homage to the character and is great for both origami and Pac-Man enthusiasts.

Fold the square paper in half lengthwise, creating a rectangle.

Fold the rectangle in half widthwise and crease. Unfold. Fold the right side to the crease. Repeat with the left side. This creates two small opening flaps.

Unfold the left flap. Insert your finger in the top corner and push it toward the bottom, creating a small triangle shape on the upper half of the flap. Repeat with the right side.

Flip the paper over. Fold the left side to the center crease, then repeat with the right side.

Fold the bottom-left corner of the paper -- only the upper flap of paper, leaving the other side flat -- in half diagonally at a 45 degree angle. Flip the paper over and repeat on the bottom-right corner of the other side.

Fold the bottom-left corner up to meet the top left corner. Flip the paper over. Fold the bottom-right corner to meet the top-right corner.

Open up the bottom and insert fingers in the upper and lower portions of the paper. The Pac-Man origami puppet is now complete.

Tips & Warnings
Use yellow paper, as this makes the puppet look more like Pacman.
Be gentle when using fingers to work the puppet or the paper will tear.
