How to Put Your Clan Tag in Black Ops

Call of Duty: Black Ops allows gamers to create a clan tag for their teams.

One way to distinguish yourself and your teammates on Call of Duty: Black Ops is to create a clan tag. The clan tag is placed at the front of your gamertag and is limited to four characters of either numbers or letters. Your teammates can then adapt your clan tag so that others who play with you know that you are on a team. Regardless of what console you play Black Ops on, the process of creating your clan tag is the same.

Instructions

1. Select "My Playercard" from the main menu on Call of Duty: Black Ops.

2. Select "Clan Tag" from the list of on screen options.

3. Type in a name for your Clan Tag, and note that this name cannot contain profanity.

4. Select "Done" to save the Clan Tag, then the clan tag appears in front of your gamertag while gaming online.
