How to Delete eBuddy

EBuddy allows users to access multiple chat contacts from a single app.

EBuddy XMS is a mobile messaging app that allows users to access multiple instant messaging programs from their smartphones. EBuddy users can sign in to Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and other programs at the same time and chat with contacts from all of the messengers using a single eBuddy account. For those who decide that they no longer wish to use eBuddy as their mobile messaging service, removing the app from a phone is a fairly straightforward process.

Instructions

iPhone Removal

1. Locate the icon for the eBuddy XMS app on your iPhone.

2. Press and hold the icon. Instead of launching the eBuddy app, an "x" will appear in the upper left corner of the icon.

3. Press the "x" on the eBuddy icon. This will uninstall the app, deleting it from your iPhone.

Android Removal

1. Open the Android Settings menu. Select the "Applications" option.

2. Tap the "Manage Applications" option to open a list of all of the apps that are currently installed on your phone.

3. Locate "eBuddy XMS" in the list of installed applications. Tap it to select it, then select the "Uninstall" option to remove the app from your phone.

Tips & Warnings

• Removing the eBuddy app from your phone only removes the actual software; your eBuddy account will remain active in case you want to install the app again at a later date.
