How to Get the Scarves in "Pokemon Sapphire"

In "Pokemon Sapphire," scarves are items that raise your Pokemon's coolness, smartness, toughness, beauty and cuteness attributes. While these attributes have no use in standard Pokemon battles, they will lead you to victory in Pokemon Contests, in which judges score your Pokemon's aesthetic qualities. To obtain these scarves, you must show the owner of the Pokemon Fan Club a Pokemon with a high attribute.

Instructions

Blue Scarf

1. Find a Pokemon in your party with a modest, mild, quiet or rash nature.

2. Feed the chosen Pokemon blue Pokeblocks, which have a dry taste. This will raise the Pokemon's beauty attribute.

3. Go to the Pokemon Fan Club in Slateport City.

4. Talk to the owner of the club. He will give you the blue scarf if you show him the Pokemon with a high beauty attribute.

Red Scarf

1. Find a Pokemon in your party with a lonely, brave, adamant or naughty nature.

2. Feed the Pokemon red Pokeblocks, which have a spicy flavor. These Pokeblocks will raise the Pokemon's coolness attribute.

3. Show the owner of the Pokemon Fan Club the Pokemon with the high coolness attribute. He will give you the red scarf.

Yellow Scarf

1. Find a Pokemon from your party with a bold, relaxed, lax or impish nature.

2. Feed the Pokemon yellow Pokeblocks, which have a sour taste. This will raise the Pokemon's toughness attribute.

3. Show this Pokemon to the owner of the Pokemon Fan Club to receive the yellow scarf.

Green Scarf

1. Find one of your Pokemon that possess a calm, gentle, sassy or careful nature.

2. Feed the Pokemon green Pokeblocks, which have a bitter taste. These Pokeblocks raise your Pokemon's smartness attribute.

3. Show this Pokemon to the owner of the Pokemon Fan Club to receive the green scarf.

Pink Scarf

1. Find a Pokemon from your party with a timid, hasty, jolly or naïve nature.

2. Feed the Pokemon pink Pokeblocks, which have a sweet flavor. This will raise the Pokemon's cuteness attribute.

3. Take this Pokemon to the owner of the Pokemon Fan Club to receive a pink scarf.
