      Connect the propane tank to the tube under the grill by removing the propane tank cap and screwing on the tube. Turn the top of the propane tank counterclockwise all the way.

      Open the lid of the grill. Push the temperature nob in and turn it to the left to put the heat on high. Immediately press the button of the grill lighter and hold the flame under the grill and over the propane vents. The grill should now be on.

      Let the grill heat for three minutes and then scrape off any debris from the grill with the brush.

      Place the food on the grill and cook until it reaches the desired temperature. Beef should be cooked to at least 125 degrees Fahrenheit in the center; ground beef should reach at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit; poultry should reach at least 165 degrees; pork should reach at least 160; ham should reach at least 160, and fish should reach at least 140.
