Instructions

    • 1

Sit down with a pencil and a piece of paper and write down what you think or feel your ability is. Add the date and details of your experience. For example, if you suspect or know you are lucid, dreaming or hearing things that others don't hear, write out the details of your dream or what you heard inside your head. Keep an accurate journal of your experiences.

    • 2

Add information about what happened following your psychic experience. For example, how did your dream come true or how did the information you heard reveal itself in your life. Note a pattern forming. Not every vivid dream may evolve into a real situation. However, if you see a pattern of events you dream that actually happen, document how often and accurate your dreams become reality.

    • 3

Believe what you see. Don't continue to doubt the pattern that is happening. Accept that it exists and find peace with the knowledge that you have psychic ability.

    • 4

Explore your abilities further. Research information about your psychic skills. Search for someone who is willing to talk to you and can answer the questions you have. Write your questions out prior to the visit so you will get your most important ones answered.

    • 5

Find some supportive individuals who will listen and talk to you. Check out your local metaphysical store, a new age bookstore or a spiritual group where psychic abilities are accepted and encouraged.

Others will affirm that they also went through experiences where they wondered if they were crazy or making their experiences up. Take comfort in knowing that you are not the only one to question what you experience.

    • 6

Focus on your abilities and try to expand them. Meditation, yoga, prayer and quiet time gives your mind and spirit time to open up and grow in new ways. Journal these experiences as well and note any avenues you feel you should explore further. Take what you know and allow it to lead you to safely use and learn how to use your abilities to help yourself and others.
