How to Renew a 50 Hour Sheet
Every state has a Department of Motor Vehicles (or DMV) that issues driver's permits and licenses. New drivers must take a driver's education course, undergo a vision exam and pass a written test. In addition, new drivers must practice driving. In some states, 50 hours of behind-the-wheel driving experience is required. The 50 hours are documented on what is called a 50-hour sheet or drive time log sheet. After meeting all the requirements, you will receive a driver's permit.
