How to Create Mutliple Gmail Accounts

Google automatically signs you in to Gmail when you open a browser, if you selected the "Remember Me" check box the last time you logged in to your account. To create a second Gmail account, you must sign out of your current Gmail account and sign up using Google's Gmail signup form. Gmail is free, so it costs nothing to create multiple accounts.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a Web browser and navigate to "gmail.com" to open your current Gmail account. If you are not logged in, Gmail prompts you to log in. Do not log in if you are already logged out.

    • 2

Navigate to the Gmail signup form. Type your first and last name. Type an account name, then click "Check Availability." A popup tells you if the account name is available.

    • 3

Type your birthday, a secret question to retrieve your password and a password for the account. Type the captcha letters in the box.

    • 4

Click "I accept and create my account" at the bottom of the form. Your second Gmail account is created.
