How to Export a Web Gallery From Lightroom to a Blogger

Developed to manage large collections of digital photographs, Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom features plug-in support, allowing you to integrate your digital photography workflow with your online social networking profiles. The developers at Photographer's Toolbox have released a plug-in called "LR/Blog" that allows you to export your Lightroom web galleries to blogs supported by the MetaWeblog protocol, such as WordPress and Blogger.

Instructions

    • 1

Go online to photographers-toolbox.com, click "LR/Blog" and click "Download LR/BLog." Save the file to your desktop and double-click the ZIP file when it has finished downloading to extract the plug-in.

    • 2

Launch Lightroom on your computer, click "File" in the menu bar of the application window and select "Plug-In Manager."

    • 3

Click "Add," find the extracted plug-in file on your computer using the "Open" dialog and click "Add Plugin."

    • 4

Click "Library" at the top of the Lightroom window, click the images that you want to export and click "Export."

    • 5

Select "LR/Blog" from the top of the window, click the "Type of Blog" drop-down menu and select "Blogger."

    • 6

Type the email address and password associated with your Blogger account in the corresponding text fields, select the Blogger blog you want to export the gallery to and click "Export." The Web gallery exports from Lightroom to your Blogger address.
