Instructions

    • 1

Close the door if the refrigerator is beeping and keep the doors closed as much as possible if items are too warm or develop frost, if the temperature does not stay stable, moisture is developing on the outside of inside of the refrigerator, or the motor seems to run constantly.

    • 2

Carefully remove ice cubes with a wooden spoon if ice cubes are stuck in the dispenser or if water is creating a puddle on the floor under the dispenser. Use the ice dispenser frequently to help prevent ice from jamming and break up ice clumps that might jam with your fingertips.

    • 3

Avoid setting unwrapped foods in the refrigerator if the unit begins to smell. Keep items closed, wrapped or sealed and clean out the refrigerator with a household cleaner or baking soda and water. An open box of baking soda in the compartment can help reduce overall odors. Replace the water filter and wrap food items in the freezer if the ice has a bad smell. Empty the ice bin and clean it out if the ice smells bad.

    • 4

Press and hold a container under the water dispenser after the refrigerator is newly installed, if the water filter has been changed or if there is spurting when water is dispensed. Hold the container for about three minutes to completely replenish the water supply.

    • 5

Unlock the control panel by pressing "Lock Control" for three seconds if the ice or water won't dispense and there is a beep when you press control pads.

    • 6

Turn on the ice maker if new ice is not replenished in the ice bin. Verify that the refrigerator is connected to a working water line if the ice maker is buzzing but not making any ice and turn the freezer temperature control down.

    • 7

Replace or reset the fuse or circuit breaker if the refrigerator has no power. The power cord must be plugged in and temperature controls moved past "0" in order to operate properly.
