How to Close a Case on PayPal
PayPal's Disputes system allows users to open "cases" in which particular PayPal transactions are marked as being in dispute. A dispute is automatically closed in 20 days, unless it is elevated to a claim and brought to the attention of PayPal officials. You can close a case before the 20-day period has elapsed, but you will never be able to reopen it, so be sure that the dispute has actually been resolved to your satisfaction.
