How to Make Bold and Slanted Letters in Gmail

Make bold and slanted letters within a Gmail message to use the text of your message to convey meaning to the reader. Bold type face commands attention and is often used in headlines. Slanted or italic typeface, on the other hand, adds emphasis to a word, phrase or even the title of a creative work. Use special typefaces sparingly to avoid diluting their effects.
