PayPal allows you to send and receive funds with your account to other users and merchants around the Web. However, if you're a new or unverified PayPal user, PayPal places limits on the amounts you can send each month. Log in to your PayPal account from the PayPal.com homepage. The page redirects to your Accounts Overview page.

Click "View Limits" next to the "Account Limits" section near the top of the page, directly below the gold "W\elcome" message.

Click the gold "Lift Limit" button next to the type of limit you'd like to increase. You can increase the amount of money you can spend each month; you can also increase the amount you can withdraw to your bank account.

Follow the steps that PayPal requires before it will increase your limit. The kinds of steps you must take vary depending on the type of account you have and the steps you've already completed, but typically you must provide additional proof of your identity and security measures, such as linking a bank account to your PayPal account, providing a Social Security or EIN number, or linking and confirming a debit or credit card.
