Google earns a significant amount of revenue from pay-per-click advertising.

Google AdWords allows a website publisher to control the placement of sponsored advertising in the search results on Google's homepage and on other sites. Significant amounts of traffic and exposure can be obtained quickly by creating short text ads and rich content or multimedia ad campaigns and setting up an AdWords account. Websites located on a hosting account at Go Daddy can be quickly elevated to the top of the search results for chosen keywords by setting the cost-per-click to a competitive amount and by ensuring relevant and fresh content on the site, improving the Google quality rating.

Instructions

    • 1

      Create an account at GoDaddy.com.

    • 2

Obtain a domain name related to the theme of the desired website and purchase a hosting account to place the website.

    • 3

Create content that relates to a particular theme or topic and design the website or a section of it around that theme or topic.

    • 4

Apply for a Google AdWords account at adwords.google.com, using an email address that is not already associated with any other Google AdWords account.

Log in to the AdWords account, and click "Billing" and "Billing Preferences."

    • 6

Enter the Google AdWords promotional code in the "Redeem Code" box under "Promotional Codes" and click "Redeem." The amount will immediately be credited to the account and be available for use.
