Mill moths keep you awake at night by flying around any light sources or tapping against windows.

Miller moths, nicknamed mill moths, are a common household pest. These moths usually reside in kitchen cabinets or pantries. Chemical baits and poisons are harmful and even deadly for humans and their pets, so they aren't an option for many people. Instructions

    • 1

Place glue-based pheromone moth traps in your pantry, cabinets, garage and anywhere else you've noticed the moths. Keep the traps out of reach of children and other pets so they don't disturb them. The pheromones these traps release mimic those of a moth ready to mate.

Discard any contaminated food in an outside trash bin, not in your house. Wipe down cabinet shelves and kitchen drawers with a wet cloth to pick up any eggs, larvae or dead moths. Place uncontaminated food in tightly sealed containers.

    • 3

Check the traps daily. Once they contain a few moths, discard them in the same outside bin. Set new traps even if you think you've killed all of the moths. Dead moths attract other bugs and pests into your home.
