How to Use an iPad As a Wireless Router Tether
You can set up wireless tethering with your iPad, as long as you have a Wi-Fi + 3G model. If you have only the Wi-Fi model, tethering won't be possible. Setting up wireless tethering is relatively simple, but your iPad 3G device must be jailbroken. If you are not familiar with jailbreaking, it's a process that unlocks the full features of your iPad, letting you download apps that are not typically available through the Apple App Store.
