How to Easily View All Categories in Mint
Some programs in Linux Mint have shortcuts placed on the Desktop or in relevant system submenus. However, all of the installed software is also available from the Applications menu, which lists all of the software categories and software programs that are on the computer. You can access this menu once you log in to your computer.

Log in to your Linux Mint computer.

Click "Menu" in the lower left corner of the screen.

Click "Applications" and all of the software categories are listed. Hover over or click on a category name to view the software contained in that category.
