Let iTunes Agent sync your music collection from iTunes to your player

Before you can synchronize your multimedia device with the iTunes Agent, you will need to configure the program correctly. The set-up process is not difficult, but does require that you configure the settings for each new device. If you have multiple devices, each one must have a separate configuration profile.

Instructions

    • 1

Plug the multimedia player into the computer with a USB cable.

    • 2

Open the iTunes Agent. By default, the Apple iTunes program launches simultaneously.

    • 3

Go to the Windows task bar and right-click the "iTunes Agent" icon. Select "Preferences" from the menu.

    • 4

Click the "New Device" button at the bottom of the "iTunes Agent Preferences" screen. Type a name, select a synchronize pattern and music location on the device. Create a folder or file location that iTunes Agent will recognize.

    • 5

Set the "Associate With Playlist" option to "Use Device Name" for best results. Click the "Save Device" button when finished inputting the required information.

    • 6

Click the "Close" button to exit your preferences. Right-click the "iTunes Agent" icon in the system tray. Select "Synchronize Devices." The program will interface with iTunes and move your music and media from the computer to your device.
