How to Get the Toggles to Work on a PS3 Controller on a PC
If you wish to play games on your PC and own a PlayStation 3 console, rather than buying a new controller for your PC you can use your PS3 controller on your computer. Installing the relevant PS3 drivers on to your computer allows you to have a fully functioning PS3 controller with all of the buttons working on your computer.

Open up your Internet browser. Click on the address bar and enter the address for "Motion Joy."

Click on the download button to download the Motion Joy Gamepad Tool on to your computer.

Open up the downloaded file. Click on "Next" and choose a location to install the Motion Joy Gamepad Tool on your computer. Click "Next" to install the program and then "Finish" once it is completed.

Plug the PS3 controller wire that you received with your controller into the USB slot on your computer. You will find the rectangle USB slot on the side of a laptop or rear of a computer tower unit. Plug the other end of the cable into the top of your PS3.

Load up the "Motion Joy Gamepad Tool" than you previously installed. Click on the "Load" button. Wait while all of the drivers are installed on to your computer.

Wait for the red light to appear on the top of your PS3 controller. This will indicate that the controller is installed and working correctly.

Load up the game you would like to play. Press all of the buttons on your PS3 controller to check that they are all working correctly.
