Instructions

From the Waist Down
-
1
Add a flap of gray fabric over the top of your knee high black boots to create a cuff for your Prince Marth boots. Don your boots (black riding boots work best) and use the tape measure to ascertain the diameter of the top of your boots.
-
2
Cut a strip of gray fabric that is 5 inches wide and as long as the measurement you recorded before. Tuck the top of the gray fabric over the rim of the boots.
-
-
3
Secure the fabric inside the boot with duct tape. The fabric should hang over the top of the boot to form a cuff resembling those on a pirate's boots. Don white tights with your boots to complete the look.
The Top
-
4
Don the blue T-shirt. Let it hang down over your tights.
-
5
Fasten the belt around your waist (over the shirt) and pull the T-shirt up so that it hangs over the belt.
-
6
Put on the rubber gloves and the blue wig. Get a cheap plastic sword from the dollar store to brandish at passersby.
The Cape
-
7
Measure the width of your shoulders and from your shoulders to the ground using a tape measure. Cut a piece of light blue fabric to match these dimensions.
-
8
Remove the chocolate gold coin candy from the wrapper. Eat the candy. Press the wrapper back together. Turn the gold coin candy wrapper over so that the back is facing you and use duct tape to attach the wrapper to the side of the safety pin that doesn't open.
-
9
Drape the narrow end of the cape around your shoulders and pin in place with your gold coin candy brooch.

Tips & Warnings
You can use a light blue bedsheet to fashion the cape in a pinch.
If you don't have a gold coin candy, paint a small cardboard circle gold and stick it to the safety pin instead.
Cut a sword out of cardboard if you don't have a plastic one. Paint the blade silver and the hilt gold.
If you don't have knee high boots, use a pair of black dress shoes. Wrap two pieces of black cardboard around your calf to look like boots and add the fabric to the top of the cardboard.
If you don't have a blue wig, use blue food coloring to color your hair and gel it into the Prince Marth anime style. You can also get spray-on blue glitter if your hair is dark.
