1
Put on work gloves and pick up any loose chunks of the driveway and toss them into a bucket for later disposal. Brush the areas to be repaired with a wire brush to loosen any remaining damaged portions. Then sweep away all dust and loose debris with a broom.
-
2
Build a wooden frame for any areas, especially corners, that are completely broken off. Do this by laying one 2-inch by 4-inch board along one side of the driveway and placing another board perpendicular to it along the other side. Nail the ends of the boards together using a hammer and 1-inch nails. Push the boards into position and hold them in place with cinder blocks.

Fill a wheel barrow with one part of water for every five parts of Quikrete quick-setting cement. Mix the material up well using a shovel.
-
4
Add 3/8-inch diameter gravel or other aggregate to the material, if the remainder of the driveway has aggregate in it. Add the rock material a little at a time, mixing well with the shovel. You may use up to 25 lbs. of rock for every one bag of Quikrete.
-
5
Scoop up the Quikrete mixture using a shovel or a trowel, depending on the extent of the repair. Place it onto the broken areas of the driveway or inside the wooden forms. Fill the area completely.

6
Pack down the material further using a hand trowel and then smooth the surface until it blends in with the surrounding driveway.
