How to Export Facebook Posts
Facebook is a free social networking website that anyone who is at least 13 years old can join. You use Facebook to keep in contact with family, friends and associates, plan activities, ask questions and write posts for them to read. If you have an account on Facebook, you might be interested in exporting your posts so you can have a copy on your own computer and be able to read them when you're not online. You can easily export your Facebook posts by accessing your account settings.

1
Launch your Web browser on your computer, go to the Facebook.com and log in to your account.
-
2
Click "Account" at the top of the page and then click "Account Settings" from the pull-down menu.

3
Click the "Download a Copy of Your Facebook Data" link. Facebook generates a zip file containing all of your uploaded material, including your profile information, pictures and posts. Facebook doesn't let you select what material to download, so you will have to export your photos along with your posts.
-
4
Click "Download." The "Request My Download" window opens. Click "Download." Facebook sends you an email message to the address you provided when you signed up for an account to let you know when the exported zip file is ready for you to download. It may take some time depending on how old of a profile you have for the e-mail to arrive.
-
5
Start your email program. Open the Facebook email message. Click the link inside the email to open Facebook's "Download Your Information" page.
-
6
Type in your Facebook account password in the "Verify Password" field. Click "Continue" and then click "Download Now." The zip file of your exported posts downloads to your computer. Double-click the zip file on your computer to open it and see your Facebook posts.
