Cleaning out closets and drawers to sell clothes that aren't worn or are no longer in style can be the source of extra cash. It is important to advertise your clothes accurately no matter whether you're selling on Internet auction and sales sites or pinning sales fliers on local bulletin boards. A catchy ad heading may get someone to look at what you're selling, but a good description of the clothes will help get the items sold.

Specify the designer, label or manufacturer of your clothes. Buyers seek specific and well known brands and respond to familiar names.
