Instructions

    • 1

Decide where you'd like the gemstones to go. Arrange them on the bustier without glue to determine the arrangement of the stones before you begin to glue them on.

    • 2

Squeeze a small drop of gemstone fabric glue onto the bustier where you'd like a gemstone to be glued. Make sure the glue drop is not larger than the stone itself. Use a cotton swab to spread the glue a little bit for larger gemstones.

    • 3

Place the gemstone on the glue, affixing it carefully with tweezers. The tweezers will allow you to move the gemstone into place to straighten it if necessary.

    • 4

Apply as many gemstones to the bustier as you like using this method. A heavily studded bustier using many stones of different sizes and colors looks really nice and very fancy.

    • 5

Allow the gemstone-studded bustier to dry overnight before wearing or washing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure the glue you are using is specifically for gemstones to adhere to fabric and that it is clear-drying glue.

  • Don't use a hot glue gun for fabric. It can mess up the appearance of the gemstones.

  • Don't put your bustier in the washing machine. Hand wash it with cold water and allow it to air-dry.
