How to Crochet a Daisy Chain Scarf
A crocheted daisy chain scarf is more decorative than functional. It may not give you the warmth of a solidly crocheted scarf, but it is very attractive and different-looking. If you prefer a more delicate scarf, use a smaller crochet hook and thinner yarn. However, for your first try, use a larger hook and a medium worsted-weight yarn. Create your own design by using a different colored yarn for each daisy or the same color for a solid-color scarf. Basic crochet skills are required for this pattern.
Things You'll Need

1
Make four chains, and then join the first chain to the loop on your size H crochet hook with a slip stitch to form a ring.
-
2
Work six single crochets in through the ring. This is different than the way you would normally crochet through each stitch.

-
3
Join the first single crochet with the loop on the hook with a slip stitch to join them together.
-
4
Chain three, and make two double crochet stitches in the joined slip stitch at the base. Chain one.
-
5
Work three double crochet stitches in the next single crochet stitch of the previous round. Repeat this process until you reach the beginning of the round. Join the round by creating a slip stitch to the top chain of the beginning chain three.

Use scissors to cut the yarn about 2 inches from the crochet hook, and then pull the yarn tail through the loop on the hook. Tug the yarn tail securely. Work the yarn tail through the last crochet round. This completes the first crocheted daisy. Make as many daisies for the length you desire for your scarf.

9
Cut a length of yarn about 6 inches long, and then thread your yarn needle. Connect the crocheted daisies in a linear fashion by working four or five back stitches through a single crochet of each flower. Cut the yarn to about 2 inches from the daisy. Work the yarn tail into the last round of one of the daisies. Repeat this process until you connect all the daisies.
