How to Fold an Invitation

An invitation can introduce an upcoming event in several ways. The verbiage on the invitation can set the stage nicely, as well as provide necessary information about the event. 2. Create a doorway effect by folding each side of the paper to the halfway mark. You can find the center with a ruler if necessary. You can decorate the front of the invitation like a magical doorway to an enchanted kingdom for a little girl's birthday.

3. Make a brochure styled invitation by executing a tri-fold. Accomplish this by folding one side of the paper until it covers two-thirds of the paper, then fold the other side over to cover the original fold. Crease the folds with your fingers. This style could be used for a travel themed party or for a gathering where you intend to sell products.
