How to Make a Spaceship on Illustrator
Illustrator is a vector-based graphics program offered by Adobe. Illustrator has many tools and features you can use to create your design ideas. These tools can create anything from highly realistic representations to cartoon-like images. For example, if you wish to create a cartoon spaceship for a comic strip or for use as clip art, this can be done using Illustrator.

Select "File" from the menu and choose "New." In the dialog box that opens, enter the width and height of the document and click "OK."

Select the "Pen" shape tool from the toolbar. Use it to draw a tall, thin shape on the canvas, roughly the shape of a tube.

Select the "Gradient" tool. In the gradient tool options on the right, make the colors in gray and white. Drag the gradient across the shape. This will give it a three-dimensional appearance.

Go to the "Layers" panel and click on the "New Layer" button. Select the "Pen" tool from the toolbar, choose dark "Fill" color and use it to draw a triangle at the bottom of the left of the spaceship. Then draw another one on the other side.

Click on the "New Layer" button. Use the "Pen" tool to draw a red flame shooting out at the bottom of the spaceship. Draw orange flame inside this. Save your work as a "JPEG."
