- Lime, orange or lemon peels
- Lavender or mint plants
- Sticky tape traps
- Vacuum cleaner
- Vinegar
- Chili pepper oil

Lay lime, orange or lemon peels around your garden and the perimeter of your home. The smell of citrus deters spiders, but take note that it might attract other bugs.

Plant lavender or mint plants around your home. The strong aroma of these plants repels spiders.

Put sticky tape traps in corners and other places around the home to catch spiders. You can buy these sticky traps at most home improvement centers.

Suck up spiders with a vacuum cleaner hose. Use the hose to suck up any cobwebs where spiders could be lurking. The spiders will be killed once sucked through the vacuum cleaner.
