How to Use a Mac Mini With Multi Touch Display
Multi-touch display devices enable mouse actions to be interpreted by the computer through touching the screen in various ways. For example, merely touching a spot on the screen moves the mouse cursor to that location, and dragging your finger across the screen may cause the current window to scroll. Multi-touch displays require a separate USB data cable in addition to the usual display cable such as VGA, DVI or HDMI. You can use a multi-touch display with your Mac Mini as long as software drivers are available for the Mac.

Touch a couple of different areas on the display to see if the mouse cursor follows your finger movements. You may need to configure additional options in the "Mouse" section of the "System Preferences," which is located in the dock. The driver software may have also installed a separate system preference for advanced configuration.
