How to Link Events to Your Wall in Facebook

Post links to a Facebook event you create on your Facebook wall in order to maximize the exposure and publicity the event receives -- and ideally, the number of guests who attend. When you invite someone to a Facebook event, the event appears in his list of upcoming events until the event passes or he declines the invitation, whichever comes first. Posting the event to your Facebook wall -- which sends the post out over the Facebook news feed -- ensures the event doesn't get lost among the other listings in the sidebar.

      Log in to your Facebook account. Click the "Events" link located underneath your profile picture on the left side of the page.

      Choose the name of the link you want to post to your Facebook wall. Highlight the URL within the address bar, then right-click on the URL and choose "Copy."

      Return to the Facebook news feed and choose "Link." Right-click in the field and select "Paste," then click "Attach." Edit any elements of the event title, description or thumbnail, then click "Share" to share it with your Facebook network.
