How to Change Colors in a Message on an iPhone
The iPhone's Message application displays received SMS, or text, messages in gray balloons and sent messages in green balloons. With the native iOS operating system, it is not possible to change the color of the message balloons. However, with a jailbroken iPhone, you can download a free application called SMS Balloon Colors that allows you to change the color of the message balloons on your device. The SMS Balloon Color application requires another free application called WinterBoard to function properly. Jailbreaking your iPhone will void the terms of Apple's device warranty.
