How to Wear a Garter Belt With Straps
Wearing nylons can become tedious and routine. You can change up your lingerie style by opting to wear thigh-high nylons, held in place with a garter belt. Wearing a garter belt requires some getting used to as the nylons seem to just hang on precociously from attached straps with clips. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Garter belt with straps
- Four straps with attached clips (if garter belt does not have straps)
- Thigh-high nylons

Pull up thigh-high nylons or stockings by gently rolling the stocking up your leg until you reach you upper thigh.

Pull down on one front strap and clip the top of the stocking to the strap. Make sure to use thigh-high nylons with a band at the top made from thicker material to withstand the clip.

Repeat the process until all four straps have been attached to the garter belt. Make adjustments as necessary such as pulling the nylons higher up on the thigh or repositioning clips to grab more material for a secure attachment.

Tips & Warnings
Wear a garter belt that rests comfortably on the lower portion of your hips. Make sure the belt is not too loose so the weight of the nylons or stockings will not pull the belt down. Use a belt with attached straps or purchase four alligator clip straps to attach to the belt. Carry an extra pair of thigh high nylons in your purse in case you get a run or tear in the material.
Make sure the nylons are attached by tugging gently on the material to ensure a good connection, this helps prevent the nylon from coming loose and falling down.
