How to Know if You're Too Attached to a Guy
A clingy relationship can cause many problems. When your boyfriend feels he can't breathe, he might seem distant and try to push you away. It's important to notice the warning signs that you're too attached before it leads to the end of your relationship. Take steps to give your boyfriend space and ask yourself why you cling to him so much. Try to find hobbies or friends to spend time with to distract your attention from solely being focused on your boyfriend.

1
Ask yourself how often you call him. If you call him more than once a day just to talk, you might be getting clingy. This is especially true if you call him many times for his opinion for even the smallest thing, like what soda you should purchase.

Examine how you feel when he says he has plans that do not involve you. If you feel angry or sad, even to the point of crying, you could be getting too attached to a guy. Also look at how he acts when you make plans without him. If you're both too attached too each other, he might become angry or pout that he is not invited.

Consider how often you see other people in your lives. If you hang out with your boyfriend and never see your friends and family, you could be too attached to the guy. For a healthy relationship, balance time between everyone important in your life.

Think about how you feel when he mentions other women. One of the first signs you're too attached is if you feel jealous or angry when he mentions other women, even family members.
