View a friend's Facebook wall history with the Older Posts feature.

If you are interested in a friend, family member or co-worker, you might have added him to your Facebook friends list. Once he has accepted your request, you can view all his status updates, posts, photos and other Facebook activity on his profile page wall. This automatically displays the most recent activity at the top of the page. The only way to browse a Facebook friend's wall history is to scroll through his wall and use the "Older Posts" feature when you get to the bottom of each page.

Instructions

    • 1

      Log into your Facebook account.

    • 2

Click "Profile" in the top navigation menu. Select the "Friends" button on the left side of your profile page. This displays a full list of your Facebook friends.

    • 3

Click the name of the friend whose wall you want to browse. This opens her profile page and wall in the main window on the page.

    • 4

Scroll down the page to view the friend's Facebook activity and wall history. When you get to the bottom of the page, click the blue "Older Posts" link to view older wall items. Continue this process to view your friend's wall history.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have many friends, save time by entering the specific friend's name into the "Search by Name" input box in step 3.

  • If you can't see certain items on a friend's wall, he may have blocked you from seeing this post category in his privacy settings.
