How to Place PayPal Buttons Under Posts thumbnail
Encourage your website visitors to buy online by adding a PayPal button to posts.

Adding PayPal to your website or blog can make buying products and services online easier for your customers. PayPal offers an automatic electronic payment service so that your customers don't have to enter credit card or debit card details each time they buy online. One way to advertise that your site accepts PayPal payments is to include a graphic PayPal button with your website content or blog posts. PayPal offers a range of graphic buttons in different sizes and formats.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch your Web browser and go to Paypal.com/newlogobuttons.

    • 2

Click the blue "Download" link beside the button that you want to add under posts on your website or blog.

    • 3

Highlight and copy the HTML code in the box under your preferred button size.

    • 4

Launch your Web design application, HTML editing software, or a plain text program, such as Notepad or WordPad. Open the Web page that contains the post under which you want to place the PayPal button.

    • 5

Scroll to the correct page location for the PayPal button. To include the button under a post, this is usually toward the bottom of the "body" section before the closing "</body>" tag.

    • 6

Paste the code into this location. Repeat this procedure for each page on which you want to include the PayPal button. Save and upload the edited pages to your website server.

Tips & Warnings

  • To automatically include the PayPal button under all new posts, add the code to your template page by following the same procedure.
