1
Select the basket or container to use for your pamper basket. Use an open basket with or without a handle, or consider a decorative hat box or fabric purse. The container is part of the gift and should be something useful to the recipient as well.
-
2
Choose a filler for the basket. You will use filler to line the bottom of the basket and cushion the items. Use colorful or shiny shredded paper from the craft store or crumpled tissue paper. Arrange the filler in the bottom of the basket.

3
Assemble your pamper products. Pick items specific to the individual, if possible. Include luxurious bath products, such as bubble bath, shower gels, lotions, masks, scrubs, bath salts, toners, body oils and exfoliants. Purchase sample or small-size containers to fit more items into the basket. Select one larger item as the focal point of the design.
-
4
Assemble your accessories. Include loofah sponges, natural bristle body brushes, washcloths and eye pillows. Include a small scented candle in a decorative holder and a compact disc of relaxing music for a bit of extra indulgence.

5
Select a very special item, if desired, for a truly individualized gift basket. Consider a gift certificate for a local spa for a massage, a trip to the beauty salon or a pedicure and manicure. Add a journal, magazine or book by a favorite author. A small box of chocolates, cookies, a bottle of wine or other favorite treat to enjoy while relaxing is also a nice touch.
-
6
Arrange the larger items in the basket to balance the appearance and weight. Center them with smaller items surrounding them, placing small items in front of and to the sides. Push the items into the filler to keep them in place. Tape some items down, if needed, to secure them to the side or handle of the basket.
-
7
Wrap the basket with clear cellophane or tulle fabric. Stand the basket in the center of the wrap and pull the wrap up around the sides to the top of the basket. Tie with a wide ribbon and add a bow, if desired. Alternatively, use a shrink-wrap plastic, heating with a hair dryer to get a tight finish to the wrap.
-
8
Tie a gift tag onto the handle or attach to the rim or top of the wrapped basket. Write, "For Someone Special to Me, <Their Name>. Love, <Your Name>."
