How to Put PSP Stuck Pixel Fixer on Your PSP

After you've owned your Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) gaming device for awhile, it is quite common to see a pixel or two stuck on a certain color. Even though the stuck pixel(s) don't normally affect actual game-play, they can be visually annoying. Fortunately, the gaming hacker community developed a stuck pixel MP4 format video to stimulate the pixel into working again. The process of putting the PSP Stuck Pixel Fixer video on your PSP is fairly straightforward.

Things You'll Need

• PSP memory stick

Instructions

1. Download the "Stuck Pixel" video onto your computer.

2. Plug the PSP memory stick into an available USB port on your computer. The folder for the memory stick will automatically open on your desktop.

3. Drag-and-drop the "Stuck Pixel" video file into the "PSP/VIDEO/" folder inside the memory stick folder. Remove the PSP memory stick from your computer.

4. Plug the memory stick into the "Memory Stick" slot on your PSP device. Select the "Video" option under the main menu.

5. Select the "Stuck Pixel" video from the video listing. Press the "X" button to begin the video. Play the video until the pixel(s) become unstuck.

Tips & Warnings

• "Dead" pixels appear completely black. This video will not fix dead pixels.
