How to Have Browser History Deleted When Exiting the Web Browser?

If you use public computers or share them with others, you may want to protect your privacy by clearing your browser history. Although you can do this manually or save history items only for a preset time period, you can also instruct your browser to delete history when you exit the program. This method does not require you to remember to delete history.

      Open the Tools menu and click "Options."

      Click to place a check mark next to "Clear History When Firefox Closes." Click the "Ok" button.

    Internet Explorer
