How to Troubleshoot a SCH-U740
The Samsung SCH-U740 may experience problems occasionally that require you to undertake basic troubleshooting steps. If the phone freezes or you cannot open an application, a soft reset can possibly help resolve the problem. Ensure the phone's data is enabled if you are unable to access any data-dependent applications but can place phone calls. Persistent problems such as the phone powering off unexpectedly may be resolved with a hard reset. A hard reset clears all the data from the SCH-U740 and returns it to factory settings.
