How to Upload Pictures From a Digital Frame to an HP Laptop
Digital picture frames allow you to display a slide show of photographs, but you can't do much with them on the frame. If you need to edit the image, you can download the pictures from the frame into your HP laptop. Since digital frames use a memory card for storage, you can use them as a flash drive to transfer pictures from one computer to another.
Instructions
-
-
1
Plug the USB data cable that came with your digital frame into the USB port on your HP laptop.
-
2
Plug the other end of the cable into the data port on the frame.

Press the "Start" button on the Windows taskbar.

Open the folder where the photos are located. The exact name of the folder may vary depending on the model of digital frame. Check for a folder named "DCIM," "Pictures" or "Photos."

Highlight the pictures you want to upload by clicking them with your mouse or trackpad. You can select multiple pictures by holding down the "Ctrl" button.

Click "Organize" and select "Copy" to make a copy on your HP computer and leave the original on the frame, or "Cut" to move the files and erase the originals.

-
10
