How to Unlock the Advance MG on the "The Ballad of Gay Tony"
In "The Ballad of Gay Tony," extra content featured in the game "Grand Theft Auto IV," you play as an enterprising young thug named Luis. Special weapons, such as the Advanced Machine Gun, sometimes drop when you kill certain enemies. It is possible, though, to always have an Advanced Machine Gun available at your safe house. To unlock the Advanced Machine Gun, you need to complete enough side missions, called Drug Wars. In Drug Wars, you work with your old friends, Armando and Henrique, to take over the drug trade in Liberty City.

Complete the "Corner Kids" main story mission. This makes Drug Wars missions available to you.

Open the in-game map. Look for a pink pill icon on the map, and head toward it. Step into the marker to start a Drug Wars mission.

Complete the mission given to you. You get a random Drug Wars mission every time you play. Examples of missions you may get include killing all gang members in the area or stealing a car.

Finish 20 Drug Wars missions. When you do, the Advanced Machine Gun appears in the kitchen of your safehouse.
