How to Make My Webcam Have a Flash
Most webcams on the market do not have a "flash" feature, unlike most digital cameras that can take clearer and brighter pictures. Although there are a number of webcams that have a built-in light that acts as a flash whenever you take pictures with them, yours may not have this feature. There are ways you can get the same "flash" effect, without having to buy a new webcam.

1
Turn on the lights and try taking a picture somewhere where there is enough light to make the webcam shots appear brighter. Alternatively, get a lamp and put it near the computer to provide the lighting that you need. If the light is too bright, tape a sheet of thin paper on the lamp to lessen the light. If you do not like the idea of using a lamp, proceed to the next step.

Purchase a USB "flex light," otherwise called a "laptop light." It provides a gentle beam that can provide the "flash effect" that you need for your webcam.

3
Plug the connector of the "laptop light" into a USB slot in your computer. It should automatically light up once it is properly plugged into the USB port. Aim the "laptop light" directly at the subject that you want to capture and start taking pictures with your webcam.
