How to Ignore a Game Request on Facebook

Facebook extends social networking through the game applications that its users can enjoy. Although many people like these games, many others don't. If you are one of those people who are getting annoyed with the game requests that flood your Facebook wall, it's time to stop them from bothering you. Facebook allows you stop your friends from sending game requests.

      Log in to your Facebook account.

      Navigate to your "Home" page and locate the "Game Requests" list on the left side of the screen. Click it to open.

      Wait for your computer to display all game requests, which are grouped according to game. In other words, all "FarmVille" requests are under the "FarmVille" group, all "CityVille" requests are in the "CityVille" group, etc.

      Click "Ignore All" beside each game name. For example, if you want to ignore all requests from "Empires and Allies," navigate to that group and click "Ignore All." Click "Confirm" to confirm your action. If you want to ignore game requests only from a certain person, proceed to the next step.

      Click the "X" button beside one of your friend's requests and click the "Ignore game requests from (name of your friend)?" Click "OK" to confirm your action. If you want to block all game requests, proceed to the next step.

      Click the "Block" option that appears whenever you try to "Ignore" game requests. Click "OK" to confirm your action. Blocking will prevent the game application from sending you any requests.
