How to Decorate Living Rooms With Brown and Teal

Instructions

1. Center your living room with a teal blue leather couch. Couple it with a chocolate brown leather chair warmed with an afghan in a teal blue, brown and wheat tweed tossed casually across the back. Opt for a couch upholstered in linen with a teal and brown geometric pattern, paired with two easy chairs, one upholstered in brown-and teal-striped polished cotton and the other in plain teal.

2. Lay a natural brown sisal area rug. Anchor it with a seating area of teal blue director-style chairs, like those found on a movie set, situated around a large, rectangular coffee table of a dark wood, like teak or mahogany. Accessorize the table with three brown pillar candles in graduated heights balanced by an unadorned clear glass vase filled with white and blue sea glass. Give the room another touch of nature with hardwood floors.

3. Create an accent wall. Paint it white. Stencil or draw a mural or design in deep brown and teal highlighted with lime green.
