How to Texture Images in Maya
Maya is a 3-D application used to generate rendered images of scenes based on the lighting settings you have chosen. The resulting images are highly realistic and often give the impression that they are photos rather than computer generated. However, there are times when you might want to do some post-work on these rendered images to give them a different look. For example, you might want to give them a texture, making them look as thought they were painted. This might mean making it appear to have brush strokes. While you can't do this sort of thing directly in Maya, there are several programs you can use for this purpose.
