How to Make an Origami Two-Headed Dragon
Mythical creatures are one of many designs that can be brought to life by origami. Using the ancient art of paper folding, origami masters and beginners alike have given birth to animals, plants and more by simply manipulating a square piece of paper with the right folds in the right places. One particular pattern that many origami enthusiasts embrace is the dragon. For those looking to put a spin on this popular piece, they can take the project a step further by creating a two-headed one.
Instructions

-
1
Fold the paper in half diagonally, top to bottom. Repeat left to right. Unfold.
-
2
Fold the paper in half horizontally, top to bottom. Then fold it in half vertically from left to right. Unfold.
-
-
3
Fold the paper in half diagonally again. Allow the left and right corners to collapse inwards, creating a diamond shape.
-
4
Rotate the diamond so that the open flaps are facing toward you. Fold the left corner to meet the center divide. Repeat with the right corner. Your figure should now resemble a kite shape.
-
5
Fold the top corner front and back along the top edges of the left and right flaps.
-
6
Unfold the left and right flaps to return the figure to its diamond shape. Grasp the bottom corner flap and pull it upward, pressing flat to create an elongated diamond. Flip over and repeat.
-
7
Grasp the top left flap and fold it over to the right. Press flat. Turn over the figure and repeat. The resulting figure should resemble a diamond with two "legs" coming from the bottom.
-
8
Take the right leg and fold it in half with the top flap. Turn over and fold it in half with the bottom flap. Repeat with the left leg.
-
9
Grasp the left leg and use an inside reverse fold to bend it upward.
-
10
Use scissors to cut the leg evenly in half along the middle crease. These will serve as the necks for the two dragon heads.
-
11
Use an outside reverse fold on both halves of the leg to create the "heads."
-
12
Grab the other leg (the one that hasn't been cut) and tuck it inward with an inside reverse fold to create the tail.
-
13
Fold each wing back and forth three times to create pleats. Pull them backward and press flat.
