How to Connect With Employers on a Facebook Page
When you visit a Facebook Page -- whether it's the Page for your employer or any other business or entity -- one of the first things you might notice is that there is no way to send the Page a direct message like you can do for a personal Profile. While this makes it more difficult to connect with potential or current employers via their Facebook Page, it doesn't make it impossible; you just have to be a bit more creative.

1
Log in to Facebook with your username and password and navigate to the Facebook Page with which you wish to connect.
-
2
Type a message to the employer, in the form of a status update, in the "What's on your mind?" box that appears on the Page's Wall, then click "Share." The administrator of the Page will see it the next time they log in to Facebook and, depending on the settings of that particular Page, other users may also be able to see your message.

3
Click "Info" on the left hand side of the Page, then view the information listed under "Basic Information." Often, that section will include a website, email address, phone number and other contact information for the Page's owners. Jot down the email address or phone number and use it to contact the employer directly.

Navigate back to your own personal Profile Wall. In the "What's on your mind?" box on your Wall, type in a status update that pertains to the employer you want to connect with, then "mention" the employer in the update by typing the "@" symbol and then the name of the Page you wish to mention. For example, if you want to mention a doctor's office in which the Page name is "Doctor's Office," type a status update such as "I love @Doctor's Office!" This will create a hyperlink that will reference the Page on your own Wall, and give the Page some free publicity. If you are looking to get a job with that employer, this may win you some extra points.
