How to Direct a Blogger Post to Share to a Facebook Page

How to Direct a Blogger Post to Share to a Facebook Page thumbnail
You can link your Blogger account to your Facebook page by changing your Facebook settings.

Facebook, the world's largest social networking website as of August 2011, and Blogger, Google's push-button publishing website, can be linked to it. If you're a registered user of each site, you can route your Blogger posts to publish directly to your Facebook page as well as to your Blogger URL -- which typically ends in the domain "blogspot.com." You don't have to do anything to your Blogger settings to publish on your Facebook page; all you must do is alter your Facebook settings.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "More" link, found along the column on the left side of your Facebook homepage. Click on the "Notes" option from the drop-down menu. You can also type "Notes" into the search text bar at the top of every Facebook page if you have never accessed this application previously.

    • 2

Click on the link "Edit Import Settings" at the bottom of the column on the left side of the Notes homepage. This link will only appear if the Notes application is in full page view. If the link doesn't appear, click on "My Notes" in the left column, then "View Full Note" at the bottom of one of the notes. You then see the "Edit Import Settings" link at the bottom of the left-hand column.

    • 3

Paste the URL for your blog or its feed into the text box on the Import a Blog page.

    • 4

Check the box next to the terms of use policy, located directly underneath the URL text box.

    • 5

Press the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. You're redirected to another page where you're asked to preview and confirm the blog you wish to import. Click "Confirm," and Facebook will automatically publish your Blogger posts using its Notes application. These will appear on your Facebook wall and status feed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Facebook may not publish your Blogger post as soon as Blogger does; Facebook checks your Blogger site only every few hours, so there may be some lag time.
