How to Connect Your Game Consoles and Receiver to Your TV

Connecting your game console to your TV is a breeze.

Your TV features multiple inputs to support a connection from the various devices in your home theater setup. You can connect both your game console and your receiver to your TV at the same time to easily cycle through the inputs. Use the HDMI ports to connect your receiver to get the best possible image for your TV programming and use the component ports to connect your game console.

Things You'll Need

• HDMI cable
• Game console component cables

Instructions

1. Turn off the TV as well as your receiver and your game console.

2. Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the rear of the receiver. Plug the other end of the cable into the "HDMI IN" port on your TV.

3. Plug one the component cable from the game console to the "Component IN" ports on the rear of the TV.

4. Turn on the TV, receiver and game console. Press the "Input" or "Source" button on the TV to cycle through the inputs.
